About Cape Fisheries Management Company

Cape Fisheries Management Company, based in Bellevue, WA, manages the six U.S. flag tuna purse seiners owned by Cape Fisheries Holdings. Its world-class team of experts provide all of the services needed to operate this far-ranging fleet, including fishing trip management, logistics, engineering, risk management, crewing, data gathering and analysis, purchasing, financing and accounting.

The Cape fleet is based in Pago Pago, American Samoa, with onsite support by Cape’s subsidiary company, Samoa Fishing Management.

The American Samoa economy is highly dependent on the tuna industry which in turn depends on fish supply from the locally based US flag purse seiner fleet of which Cape is the largest.

Cape Fisheries is committed to upholding industry-leading standards in social standards, safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability, and quality.

Cape Fisheries is a member of the American Tunaboat Association.
